Three Alpine A110 GT4s for CMR
12 March 2019
Classic & Modern Racing (CMR) will be back for another season in the GT4 European Series. After running two cars in 2018, the Charly Bourachot-led team will enter three Alpine A110 GT4 in the series this year.
The Alpine A110 GT4 made its competition debut during the 2018 season and CMR won races in the GT4 European Series, the Championnat de France FFSA GT and the end-of-season GT4 International Cup.
This season the team from Alès, France, is back with a trio of cars. In the #48 Alpine A110 GT4 Eric Mouez and David Loger will return for their second season, while Spa race winner Pierre-Alexandre Jean will team up with Pierre Sancinéna in the #36 car. Soheil Ayari and Guillaume Roman will complete the CMR line-up in the #9 Alpine.
"This year, we have three main goals in mind," said Charly Bourachot. "First of all, we want to continue to wear pridefully the colors of the Alpine brand, and knowing our cars in greater detail, we want to continue the success we got in 2018, this time with the A110 from the beginning of the 2019 championship."
"It is particularly important for us to maintain the trust pilots place in us by putting them on the podium as often as possible. The second edition of the GT4 European Series championship promises us great moments that we will soon share together," he added.
CMR will unveil the liveries of its cars at the end of this month.
