Street Art Racing confirms Bachmann and Seyler for 2019
7 February 2019
Street Art Racing will campaign the new-spec Aston Martin Vantage GT4 in the GT4 European Series, with Pascal Bachmann and Clément Seyler confirmed to race one of two cars entered by the team this season.
The Belgian squad, led by Albert Bloem and Damien Hellebuyck, was one of the first teams to confirm plans to run the new Aston Martin. With Swiss driver Bachmann and young Luxembourg driver Seyler the team aims to play a role in the AM category.
"Last year, I really had to learn everything," said Bachmann. "Even though it was not so easy all the time in such a competitive pack of 45 cars, I learned a great deal and I enjoyed myself!"
"So I am extremely happy to be back with Street Art Racing, and the new Aston Martin Vantage. With my new team mate, I also hope we can make a good showing in the AM category.”
Bachmann's team mate Seyler will make his debut in the series this season and to date the 19-year-old competed in just five races.
"So far I have only driven touring cars and everything went very well. Obviously, driving the Aston Martin Vantage GT4 will be altogether different," said Seyler.
"But my first experiences have shown that I am capable of learning quickly and I can tell you that I am doing everything I can to maximise my chances: preparing physically, learning circuits on the simulator, analysing acquired data and so on. I cannot wait for the season to begin!"
The drivers of the second Street Art Racing Aston Martin Vantage GT4 will be announced soon. The 2019 GT4 European Series kicks off at Monza (April 12-14).
