> Six manufacturers and star-studded driver roster for 2024 event
> Macau entry list
This year’s FIA GT World Cup in Macau promises to be the most competitive edition in the event’s history thanks a 23-strong entry list and who’s who of international driving talent.
All six manufacturers – Audi, BMW, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Mercedes-AMG and Porsche – are represented by at least three cars and minimum of two factory drivers. 15 Platinum and five Gold-graded drivers further underline the exceptional quality of this year’s roster.
They are headlined by 2023 winner Raffaele Marciello who will make his first appearance at the Guia Circuit in something other than a Mercedes-AMG GT3 since contesting the F3 Grand Prix there in 2013. This year he lines up in a BMW for TORO Racing Powered by MCG.
Other notable drivers include previous FIA GT World Cup winners Augusto Farfus, Edoardo Mortara, Laurens Vanthoor and newly crowed Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS Sprint Cup champion Maro Engel.
But there is also a strong Asian contingent amongst the international teams and drivers. Indeed, eight current Fanatec GT Asia regulars – Absolute, Craft-Bamboo, FAW Audi Sport Asia, Harmony Racing, Phantom Global, Team KRC, VSR, and reigning teams’ champions Origine – plus Toro and Uno Racing will compete against illustrious names such as Team WRT, AF Corse and GruppeM.
What’s more, reigning Fanatec GT Asia champion Leo Ye Hongli (Origine) plus domestic rivals James Yu and Adderly Fong (both Uno Racing) are racing for overall as well as Silver class honours.
The FIA GT World Cup, which is organised in partnership between the FIA and SRO Motorsports Group, takes place on November 14-17.
